Sanibel Community Housing & Resources is a non-profit private
corporation which develops affordable housing programs for persons
who work on Sanibel but can't afford to live there, and for longtime
residents who can no longer afford Sanibel rents.
Having affordable housing near Sanibel employees’ jobs helps
attract qualified workers for many of the necessary positions on
the island. Having island employees living close to their work sites
on Sanibel would also provide enhanced services to the community,
especially in emergency situations. In turn, employees would spend
less time and money on an often lengthy commute and would allow
them to be residents of and participants in the Sanibel community.
Services provided for this organization are web design and development,
internet marketing, web hosting and email services.
